About Carrie

I've always been drawn to the land. To me, there's something grounding about open pastures, wildflowers, working farms, ranches, animals, and healthy food. It's where I feel most at peace.

Working alongside farmers, collaborating with chefs, and seeing firsthand the dedication required to build healthy food systems reinforced something I'd believed throughout my career: meaningful impact begins with strong relationships.

After nearly 30 years in business operations, relationship management, and partnership development, I realized I could support these organizations in a different way.

That's why I created Wildflower Pastures.

Today, I work alongside agricultural organizations, conservation nonprofits, farms, ranches, and food system organizations—helping strengthen relationships, improve operations, and create the capacity that allows important work to move forward.

Wildflower Pastures reflects everything I love about the land.

Wildflowers represent beauty that doesn't have to be cultivated or perfect. Open pastures represent possibility, growth, and the quiet journey ahead.

Together, they reflect the approach I bring to my work: thoughtful relationships, steady support, and meaningful growth.

That's the spirit behind Wildflower Pastures.

Why Wildflower Pastures

I believe organizations shouldn't lose opportunities simply because they don't have enough time.

I believe relationship stewardship matters.

I believe thoughtful organization is the backbone of a great organization.

I believe great opportunities shouldn't be lost simply because organizations don't have the capacity to pursue them.

That's the work I enjoy most.
